Across our network, colleagues came together to bake a sweet difference for animals in our communities.

More than 30 practices from coast to coast took part in this year’s National Cupcake Day celebrations, on February 23, transforming their break rooms into hubs of creativity and compassion. With enthusiasm and community spirit, participating teams raised more than $9,000 to support animals in need in their communities.

Since 2023, over $48,000 has been donated through this campaign.

Of course, no cupcake celebration would be complete without a little friendly competition.

And the winners are!

We also hosted a friendly cupcake-decorating contest and are thrilled to celebrate three teams with a donation to the animal welfare charity of their choice in recognition of their artistic flair and commitment.

 1st Place: Kamloops Veterinary Clinic

  • Winning a $300 donation split between Sammy’s Forgotten Felines Rescue Society and Four Paws Food Bank Foundation

2nd Place: Clinique vétérinaire de l’Estuaire Mont-Joli

  • Winning a $200 donation to Société protectrice des animaux du Littoral (SPAL)

3rd Place: Fifth Avenue Veterinary Clinic

  • Winning a $100 donation to Ontario SPCA

Thank you and congratulations to every practice that participated! Your energy, generosity, and teamwork are making a tangible difference in the lives of animals across the country.

Together, we’re strengthening the communities we servedemonstrating the difference being a Force for Good can be, and helping create brighter futures for the animals who depend on us.
