Emergency Hospital Appreciation Program
Teams working at 24-hour emergency hospitals are faced with certain opportunities as well as unique challenges compared to general veterinary practices. ER teams handle interesting cases, offer flexible working schedules, and can make significant impacts in the lives of pets and owners. On the other hand, the volume of work, the fast pace, longer and overnight shifts, as well as the types of cases and clients that you face, all make for a unique environment.
As part of our mission to support and empower our veterinary teams, we developed a program to better address the unique pressures faced by our ER hospital team members.

ER Hospital Bonus
All team members will receive an annual ER hospital bonus. This includes Managers and Assistant/Floor Managers, Veterinarians, RVTs, and Support Staff.
To thank you for always going above and beyond, additional days off will be provided to all full-time team members. This extra time off may help you spend more time pursuing your interests, connect with loved ones, or get more involved with your community.
Unlimited CE Allowance
To support your skills and knowledge in critical care, your current individual CE allowance per year will be unlimited for full-time positions or doubled for part-time positions (applicable to standard CE policies).
Energizing Staff Break Room
Take a break and recharge in a comfortable staff break room. Each hospital team has decided on and will make improvements to their current staff room with renovations, new furniture or appliances, or any other necessary changes.
To complement our existing Employee Assistance Program (EAP), each participating hospital will have additional initiatives to support the health and wellness of your team.
Win Gift Cards
Monthly contests allow team members to enter for a chance to win prizes. The team at each ER hospital in the appreciation program decides on the prize type.
