We are a fortunate group of people — we get to work in a field where people are truly passionate about what they do. At VetStrategy, we don’t take this for granted. Our hospital teams are why our clients and patients return and our goal is to support them in their great work.
As an equal opportunity employer, VetStrategy is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
We have multiple career opportunities available in 9 provinces across Canada.
Our Veterinarians are the cornerstone of our organization. Whether you are a general practitioner, an emergency room doctor, or a specialist, our goal is to support you in delivering great patient care, client service and community relations.
The key to our approach is ensuring that veterinarians have the freedom to do what they think is right for their patients.
As part of the medical team, our veterinary technicians and technologists play a key role in our hospitals. We believe in utilizing all of your skills, including helping with physical assessments and diagnoses, collecting samples and performing laboratory tests, preparing animals and operating rooms for surgery, monitoring anesthesia during surgeries, administering vaccines and medications, providing post-operative care, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance.
Through various programs, we provide students actively enrolled in DVM and RVT programs with a hands-on and in-clinic experience to develop the technical, practical and soft skills needed to become successful veterinary professionals. Most of our hospitals offer summer job placements for students, with free boarding offered at a growing number of locations across Canada.
At VetStrategy our practice and office managers are responsible for overseeing the hospital’s daily operations. This involves everything from the financial performance to human resources. To help you with these duties, VetStrategy provides extensive training in all areas of the practice.
Our support staff is made up of multi-skilled individuals all contributing to medical care as well as positive customer relationships. From veterinary assistants, to kennel attendants to our client service representatives, our hospitals could not run without the care and attention of our support team.
For all support staff positions, please visit our hospitals’ direct websites.
Our field leaders and head office teams support our practices in a variety of functions so our hospitals can focus on what they do best – caring for their patients. These departments include business development, corporate development, finance (e.g. payroll, accounting), human resources, recruitment, marketing and communications, national and field operations, practice transition, real estate and facilities, as well as systems and IT.
