National Cupcake Day brought many of our practices together from coast to coast to raise funds to support animals in need. Thanks to the creativity and generosity of our participating practices, our caring teams collectively raised nearly $9,000.
Lauzon Veterinary Hospital donated their funds to Animal Aide of St. Thomas-Elgin, a registered non-profit cat rescue located in St. Thomas, ON. Since 1993, Animal Aide has saved the lives of almost 10,000 cats and kittens in Southwestern Ontario. Here’s what the organization had to say:
“Many special thank you’s to the staff and those that donated to the Lauzon Veterinary Hospital National Cupcake Day fundraiser. $100’s of dollars were raised in support of Animal Aide and we are very grateful for the support.”

We held a friendly cupcake-decorating contest and are thrilled to celebrate three teams with a donation to the animal welfare charity of their choice in recognition of their artistic flair and commitment.
