Today marks International Women’s Day, a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality, and our team members, both in hospitals and at Home Office are marking this important date through two campaigns.
For the second year, clinics and hospitals from coast to coast are hosting Claws for a Cause nail trim fundraisers, raising money for local charities supporting women and girls. We’ll be sharing the results of this campaign and our winning clinics later this month.
As part of IVC Evidensia, we encouraged team members to nominate women who, through their actions and leadership, are making a positive impact on their colleagues, patients, and clients, and driving progress and success where they work and within our wider business. We’re thrilled to profile these incredible 12 women and look forward to sharing additional inspiring team members later this month:

Our Women’s Leadership Group (WLG) was created in 2021 to bring strong, inspiring women together within our network. With over 25 members across Canada, the WLG is made up of a group of Practice Managers, DVMs, support teammates, and home office team members who meet regularly to discuss key topics impacting women in our organization and beyond.
